與萬達、一方兩方麵達成協議後 ，大連人俱樂部卸下了全部曆史債務 ，輕裝上陣。借此契機 ，重新組建俱樂部管理團隊 ，打造新的管理模式 ，球隊采用新的“陽光薪酬考核體係” ，杜絕暗箱操作 。很多人都笑稱足改小組的做法有著濃濃的國企風格 ，但強調陽光 ，強調規矩 ，並沒有什麽不好，尤其對於已經亂了套的職業足球來說 ，也確實需要這樣的規範 。
根據公告 ，球員薪資將由三部分構成 ，其中基本薪資30% 、績效薪資70% ，外加比賽獎金 ，最高不超過基本薪資的五倍 。公告稱 ，陽光薪酬考核體係將以引導運動員驍勇善戰 、敢打敢拚 、體現精氣神為導向 ，不單純追求成績，獎功罰過、獎勤罰懶 、末尾淘汰 。俱樂部同時公開承諾 ，按績取酬 、公開透明 、杜絕欠薪 。選聘教練的公告中則提到 ，教練薪酬為基本薪資加上獎金 ，獎金最高不超過五倍工資。
目前 ，大連人隊正在梯隊教練孫衛、劉玉建 、周挺的帶領下進行冬訓 ，其中 ，孫衛也是符合招聘條件的人選之一 ，他曾擔任過浙江綠城和國奧隊的主教練 。
