北京時間8月21日下午 ，國足官宣召入新球員，补招效力泰山隊的郑铮鄭錚替補進隊 ，據悉他將頂替受傷的引发翼或李磊位置 。老將鄭錚在之前的连锁40強賽也有進入國家隊名單，不過這次的成左12強賽他沒有被列入第一選擇。沒想到在李磊到隊檢查後，后卫發現他的首选傷勢還沒有完全康複，於是国足高准李鐵臨時召入鄭錚 。
能踢邊衛與中衛是补招鄭錚的最大特點 ，但根據此前聯賽的郑铮表現 ，他大概率隻會充當替補 ，引发翼或至於誰能成為主力，连锁相信大家都能猜到 。成左這次備戰12強賽，后卫國足的邊衛位置似乎成為魔咒，先是右邊衛連續有唐淼和明天受傷 ，現在連左邊路的李磊也傷了 。李鐵能招進來頂替的，分別是王剛和鄭錚兩名30+老將 。
麵對實力比自己更強的對手 ，攻強守弱的王剛大概率不會是右邊衛第一選擇 ，王燊超和張琳芃兩人攻守平衡會更合適 ，在張琳芃已經長時間與蔣光太搭檔中衛的情況下，李鐵最可能就是把王燊超挪到右路 ，如此一來 ，高準翼的首發機會就大大增加了 。
自從本賽季以來這名廣州隊邊衛的表現就有目共睹 ，防守是他的老本行 ，基本沒有缺漏 。助攻上同樣亮點不少，既有進球能力也有一腳不錯的傳中 ，還能邊路突破製造威脅 。左右腳均衡 ，加上球隊的成績加持 ，高準翼基本坐穩今年聯賽的中超第一左後衛位置 。
適逢今天也是高準翼的26歲生日 ，俱樂部在一早就給他發了祝福海報 ，慶祝他生日快樂 。相信今天他的生日願望 ，肯定是能在12強賽踢上主力 ，為國足衝擊世界杯貢獻自己的力量 。
