主裁判立即將諾猜汶紅牌罰下 ，对手而受傷倒地的缝针蘇帕桑也被送往當地醫院 ，他在醫院中縫了24針。泰拳諾猜汶的這個動作已經完全不屬於足球範疇 ，而更像是泰拳動作 。
曼穀俱樂部隨即發布官方聲明 ，宣布和諾猜汶解約 ：“俱樂部願意采取措施 ，表明對這一行為的不支持態度 。俱樂部已經解除了球員的合同 。俱樂部對這一事件表示慰問 ，並將盡一切可能阻止類似情況再次發生。”
而北曼穀大學俱樂部表示 ：“在受到曼穀隊6號球員的故意攻擊後 ，蘇帕桑在醫院接受了身體檢查 。醫生發現他的上嘴唇區域有嚴重傷口 ，並總共縫了24針來縫合傷口 。俱樂部將繼續為球員提供必要的關懷，並承擔相應義務 。”
