北京時間5月8日，广州更多中超聯賽將進入到第四輪 ，城主廣州城將迎戰深圳隊 ，帅战深足首目前廣州城兩勝一平 ，检验排名A組第一 。外援主教練範加斯特也比較輕鬆 ，广州更多他表示 ，城主明天的帅战深足首比賽非常重要，我們也是检验一如既往的準備 。
對於深圳隊 ，外援範加斯特表示 ：“他們投入很大 ，广州更多引進了很多有實力的城主球員 ，我們投入不大 ，帅战深足首但我們是检验很好的球隊 ，經曆了前三輪，外援對手會更重視我們 ，明天的比賽是一個挑戰 ，也是檢驗我們實力的機會 。”
在被問到是否有更高的成績期待時 ，範加斯特表示 ：“足球比賽未來無法預測 ，隻能好好去準備 ，每場比賽都是新的開始 ，我們隻能去應對好 。”
有記者問 ，深足一直是4名外援出戰 ，廣州城一直是1-2名外援出戰 ，本場比賽是否會安排更多的外援出戰？範加斯特表示：“NO”
另外，憑借前三輪聯賽的表現 ，吉列爾梅已經被公認是本賽季最成功的引援。吉列爾梅表示 ：“上周的比賽非常艱苦 ，本場我們要麵對一個強大的對手，我們要專注於我們自己 ，把我們訓練的內容打出來 。”
談到自己的表現 ，吉列爾梅表示 ：“我對中超並不了解，與其他隊員也在磨合當中，最重要的是把每一場比賽都當作新的機會，去證明自己，認真對待。”（裴力）
