今夏的滕哈曼聯將迎來新主帥滕哈格 ，勢必也會迎來又一次的坎特重建 。而據《鏡報》的曼联魔獨家消息稱 ，滕哈格已經鎖定了入主曼聯之後的第目第一筆簽約 ，那就是标红切爾西中場坎特 。
現年31歲的为交坎特 ，本賽季仍然是滕哈切爾西不可或缺的球員 ，為藍軍在各項賽事出戰40場 ，坎特打入2球助攻5次 。曼联魔坎特與切爾西的第目合同在明年夏天到期，《鏡報》表示 ，标红滕哈格相信 ，为交坎特仍然擁有實力 、滕哈經驗以及饑餓感，坎特可以在下個賽季幫助到曼聯隊內的曼联魔年輕人 。
雖然已經31歲，但滕哈格相信 ，坎特仍然可以為曼聯帶來很多東西 ，為曼聯缺乏嚴肅態度的中場增加實力 。
《鏡報》指出 ，曼聯相信，這位跑動和搶斷尚佳的中場球員，是具有可行性的一筆操作 。而新帥滕哈格則認為，曼聯的中場需要“下猛藥” ，以此來變得更有活力 、決定性和競爭力 。在此之前 ，曼聯已經與摩納哥的瓊阿梅尼 ，以及巴薩的德容聯係在了一起 ，此外還有西漢姆的賴斯 。
