需要指出的英国是 ，英國女王伊麗莎白的网友挖出這封信件 ，是女王不是真的故意隱藏“it's coming home” ，目前不得而知 ，尚未有英國官方來證實或辟謠這件事 ，畢竟這些完全是網友們在女王信件中“努力”搜索各個單詞的字母 ，組成的句子而已 。不過，這個信息在社交媒體公布後 ，立即引起了熱議 ，一位網友看到藏頭詩時寫道 ：“真天才 ！”還有一位網友寫道：“上帝保佑女王（筆者注：這也是英國的國歌）。”
據悉，有上百位網友認為 ，英國女王隱藏的信息是真實存在的 ，他們覺得這是伊麗莎白女王給英格蘭歐洲杯決賽前的鼓舞 。不過也有一些網友認為，這樣牽強地“挖掘”藏頭詩是很無聊的 ，未必是英國女王的本意。一位反對藏頭詩的網友寫道 ：“多麽努力的無聊行為 。”還有一位網友調侃道 ：“太幸運了，你竟然擁有女王的信件啊 。”
根據賽程安排，英格蘭與意大利的2020歐洲杯決賽將在北京時間7月12日淩晨3時打響 ，地點是在倫敦溫布利球場 。英國媒體《太陽報》指出 ，會有超過6.5萬名球迷現場觀戰 ，而且大部分都是英格蘭球迷 ，三獅軍團會在一個非常濃烈的氛圍下衝擊隊史上第一個歐洲杯冠軍 ，屆時全英國會有多達4400萬人通過電視直播的方式觀看歐洲杯決賽 ，這將成為英國曆史上收視率最高的節目 。
