4月30日 ，人民日报仍艰亞冠聯賽小組賽展開最後一輪較量。体育廣州隊0:1負於川崎前鋒隊 ，中国足球山東泰山隊0:5不敵浦和紅鑽隊。难跋中超球隊的靠自本屆亞冠之旅就此劃上句號 。上海海港和長春亞泰提前退賽 ，己踢兩支以青年軍出征的人民日报仍艰山東泰山隊和廣州隊最終戰績是1平11負 。其中，体育山東泰山隊在同獅城水手隊的中国足球兩場比賽中取得1分和2記進球 。
