北京時間5月8日淩晨 ，歐足聯就歐超一事再次發布了官方公告 。联官在官方公告中，宣退歐足聯稱與退出歐超的出欧超9家俱樂部達成和解，這9家俱樂部將會被扣除一賽季歐戰收入的队被5%。而對於目前仍未退出歐超的罚款罚皇皇馬 、巴薩 、将重尤文這三家俱樂部，萨文歐足聯將展開行動 ，欧足目前此事已經被移交給歐足聯紀律機構 。联官

對於這9家俱樂部 ，歐足聯將會扣除他們一個賽季歐戰收入的5%作為懲罰 ，這筆錢同樣會被用於社區和青少年足球發展 。如果這9家俱樂部還試圖參加未獲得授權的比賽，那就會被罰款1億歐元 。如果他們違反了俱樂部承諾宣言條款，則會被罰款5000萬歐元 。
對於尚未退出歐超的三家俱樂部，歐足聯也要馬上展開行動了 。按照此前媒體的報道 ，歐足聯主席切費林想要對皇馬 、巴薩 、尤文處以歐戰禁賽兩年的重罰 。Cope電台指出，皇馬仍然認為歐超是拯救足球的最優解 ，並希望與歐足聯繼續展開對話 。巴薩此前則官方表態稱，是否退出歐超要會員大會來做決定 。《世界體育報》指出 ，巴薩對歐足聯目前的態度感到無法接受，巴薩希望得到歐足聯應有的尊重 。Cope電台還透露 ，巴薩將會在今天發表官方公告 ，紅藍軍團並不擔心來自歐足聯的威脅和壓迫 。
《紐約時報》則報道稱，皇馬 、巴薩和尤文 ，將通過法律手段起訴退出歐超的9家俱樂部 ，並索要經濟賠償 。在12家初始俱樂部簽署歐超合同時 ，合同中針對退出情況有明文規定的處罰條款。違約金為上賽季歐超聯賽中收入的50% ，再加上1.5億歐元 ，或者過去4個賽季收入的25%。
