實際上C羅本場比賽不可謂不拚命 。在現場拍攝的一張照片中，褪下球襪拿掉護腿板的C羅 ，其左腿有一道非常明顯的血痕 。在有護腿板保護的情況下還被傷成這樣 ，埃弗頓球員的凶狠和C羅的拚命都可見一斑 。
