而在這具有特殊意義的比賽中 ，兄弟倆的發揮也非常完美 ，一起撐起了法國隊整個左邊路的攻防 。而弟弟特奧更是在比賽尾聲打入絕殺進球 。當時特奧在禁區內左側得球 ，他稍作調整後一腳抽射 ，雖然庫爾圖瓦的撲救非常舒展 ，但是特奧的射門角度非常刁 ，擦著右側立柱飛入球門。而這也是特奧法國國家隊的首個進球 。
