當地時間6月5日 ，国足中國隊選擇提前一天前往沙迦體育場提前進行了適應場地訓練。提前天适中菲之戰的应沙賽前發布會確定在當地時間6月6日晚7點半舉行（北京時間23:30分）舉行 ，屆時主教練李鐵將前往沙迦球場出席 ，迦球不過球隊6日的场定成演訓練還是安排在沙迦俱樂部訓練場內舉行 ，不過按照亞足聯的位球相關要求 ，國足的战术訓練還將對媒體開放15分鍾 。
中國隊的练重三場小組賽雖然易地阿聯酋，但作為賽事的国足主辦方 ，中國隊仍然在訓練場地 、提前天适後勤保障等方麵占據一定的应沙優勢 。在訓練場地的迦球安排上 ，小組其他四支球隊的场定成演訓練被安排在沙迦體育場外場 ，而中國隊的位球訓練則被安排在沙迦俱樂部內 ，相比體育場外場 ，战术中國隊的訓練場地條件更優越 ，後勤也更加完備。
6月5日傍晚 ，國足提前一天進入沙迦體育場適應場地，中國隊多次前往沙迦作賽 ，對於比賽場地並不陌生 ，而且阿聯酋聯賽剛剛結束 ，沙迦體育場的草皮維護也非常好 ，這讓國足將士比較滿意 。從5日的訓練來看 ，定位球戰術和邊路傳中 ，成為了國足演練的重點。考慮到菲律賓隊極有可能采取密集防守戰術 ，在這種情況下 ，充分利用場地寬度就顯得至關重要 。
另外 ，在打不開局麵的情況下 ，定位球進攻也是國足得分的重要選擇 。相比東南亞隊員，國足將士身體條件占據一定優勢 ，另外，目前的隊內與擁有艾克森 、張稀哲這樣的定位球主罰高手 。
經過最近幾天的調整之後 ，目前國足將士心態平穩 ，鬥誌也比較旺盛 ，對於當地高溫條件也基本適應 。值得一提的是 ，每天的訓練之後乘坐大巴返回酒店 ，為了避免感冒 ，國足乘坐的大巴都不會開放空調 ，這意味著每天訓練結束之後 ，國足將士都會免費享受一次“高溫桑拿之旅” 。“相比大巴車裏的高溫桑拿 ，其實晚上的室外還是要涼快多了” ，有隊員開玩笑說 。（搜狐體育 裴力）
