北京時間3月30日 ，超级英國媒體《太陽報》消息稱 ，电脑日前超級計算機預測了2020-2021賽季的预测英超排名，曼城奪冠已無懸念 ，利物曼聯 、进欧萊斯特城和切爾西躋身前四 ，冠区獲得參加下賽季的西上歐冠資格；利物浦 、熱刺和西漢姆排名第五到第七 ，超级如果南安普頓無法拿到足總杯冠軍，电脑這三支球隊獲得歐聯杯/歐協杯的预测英超資格。
英超聯賽29輪戰罷 ，利物多賽一場的进欧曼城以22勝5平3負 ，積71分的冠区成績 ，在積分榜上遙遙領先，西上曼聯以14分的超级劣勢排在第二位 ，56分的萊斯特城和51分的切爾西分列第三和第四，49分的西漢姆 、48分的熱刺和46分的利物浦分列第五到第七 。本賽季 ，英超各支球隊普遍僅剩9輪聯賽，在很多球迷眼裏 ，聯賽冠軍已定，歐戰資格分配也逐步明朗化 ，但歐冠資格到底花落誰家 ，則是一個熱議的話題 ，因為第四名之爭有很大懸念 ，切爾西、西漢姆 、熱刺和利物浦都還有機會。
