考慮到巴薩的磅交財政狀況 ，俱樂部在今夏進行裁員已經是格列必然事件，此前西班牙媒體也披露了一份巴薩的交换界体裁員名單 ，除了目的萨乌地等必走之人 ，外格裏茲曼也並不被巴薩當做非賣品 ，尔世尤其是育报易计隨著 。德佩和阿圭羅的曝重到來 ，法國人在巴薩的磅交位置已經並非不可或缺，尤其是格列在種族歧視爭議出現後 。格列茲曼在巴薩的未來蒙上了更大的陰影 。

但同時，作為另一支覬覦薩烏爾已久的球隊 ，在巴薩的流言傳出時 ，利物浦仍保持著對馬競中場的關注 。薩烏爾與馬競的合同截至2026年 ，違約金1.5億歐元 。可利物浦方麵似乎隻願意開出4000萬的報價 ，雖然薩烏爾和馬競已經談論過各自的未來 ，前者今夏離開馬競的可能性真實存在 ，不過這個價格似乎還並不能打動床單軍團 。
最終，這樁球員交換的交易真的能成行嗎 ？格列茲曼回歸馬競 ，勢必將會背負巨大的輿論壓力 ，但西蒙尼卻很難拒絕愛將的回歸 ，馬競俱樂部仍渴望重新接納他 ，倒是薩烏爾的到來 ，卻不能讓巴薩嚴重的薪資問題有本質上的緩解。不過《世界體育報》仍稱 ，這樣的交換確實具備成行的可能 ，或許時間會給我們一個明確的答案 。
