談到目前的积极身體狀態 ，王燊超表示 ：“離開大家蠻久的回应回归 ，國家隊的比賽 ，有一個半月沒有回來了 ，回來之後 ，也沒有時間去休息 ，因為聯賽馬上要開始了 。這段時間也希望能夠盡快調整好 ，做好第二階段聯賽的準備 。個人狀態總體來說沒什麽問題 ，國家隊在蘇州每天都在保持高強度的訓練 ，雖然沒有休息 ，但身體狀態處於比較好的備戰狀態 。”
對於接下來密集艱苦的聯賽賽程 ，王燊超認為，主教練萊科接手球隊之初就作好了準備 。“賽程對於每個隊都非常困難 ，非常密集 ，每個球隊都需要去麵對。我們隊的訓練強度 ，從主教練開始的第一天就做好了這個準備 。”
由於阿瑙托維奇很可能不會再歸隊 ，穆伊也返回澳大利亞處理家中事務 ，因此接下來第二階段的聯賽 ，海港很可能隻有2名外援出戰 ，對此作為球隊隊長的王燊超表示 ，也隻能去麵對 。“就當作外援受傷 ，或者某種原因不能比賽去麵對吧 ，我們每天的訓練，都在做各種可能發生的困難準備。”
王燊超在國家隊司職左後衛，而在回到海港之後 ，王燊超又將回到右邊衛位置 。對於這種位置轉變 ，王燊超表示 ，自己已經完全適應 。“沒有什麽問題 ，在國家隊集訓也很久了 ，位置和角色轉換我已經適應了 ，而且以往左右兩邊我都打得挺多的 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
