J-Law is sick of the shaming.
In an interview with Harper's Bazaar on Thursday, America's current sweetheart Jennifer Lawrence spoke out against what she sees as unfair expectations on female body types.
In typical Lawrence style, she said she disagreed with the increased "thinning" of how people feel they should look. Instead, she wants a new paradigm.
"I would like us to make a new normal-body type," she told Harper's. "Everybody says, 'We love that there is somebody with a normal body!' And I'm like, 'I don't feel like I have a normal body.' I do Pilates every day. I eat, but I work out a lot more than a normal person."

"I think we've gotten so used to underweight that when you are a normal weight it's like, 'Oh, my God, she's curvy,'" Lawrence said. "Which is crazy. The bare minimum, just for me, would be to up the ante."
"At least so I don't feel like the fattest one," she added.
The starlet has been using her fame and her current good-standing in the culture to speak out on issues of discrimination both in and out of her industry.
She contributed to Lena Dunham's newsletter "Lenny" last October, with an article succinctly titled, "Why do I make less than my male co-stars?"
Of course, the Harper's interview was also full of the usual, everywoman charm that Lawrence brings to the world. She discusses how her menstrual cycle syncs with awards shows, how much she enjoys The Onion and all the celebrity pals who have seen her throw up.
Keep speaking the truth, J-Law.
