0比4再敗川崎前鋒之後，京媒军认距國安的单论小夥子們結束了他們的首次亞冠之旅 。單論戰績 ，成绩1平5負 ，满意小組墊底的国安成績自然不能令人滿意 ，但無論是青年清差球隊管理層 、率隊出戰的京媒军认距主帥揚科維奇還是隊員們，他們都清楚，单论以預備隊為主要班底去征戰亞冠 ，成绩這種戰績是满意在意料之中的 ，況且球隊在首秀就完成了“進1球得1分”的国安目標 。揚科維奇的青年清差這支球隊表現基本符合外界的預期 ，雖然差距是京媒军认距明顯的 ，但每場比賽小夥子們都拚到了最後 ，单论也獲得了對手的成绩認可 。認清差距的同時也收獲寶貴經驗 ，這就夠了 。
回顧小組賽的爭奪 ，每場比賽國安都暴露出了一些問題 ，比如防守端不夠專注 ，門將易出現失誤 ，後防線和中衛之間的空擋過大等等 ，這些問題或許在和同年齡段的球隊比拚過程中並不會被對手很容易地識破並完成破門，但麵對實力和經驗都明顯高於自己的洲際賽事對手 ，這些問題被直接放大 ，暴露在了每個人的麵前 。機會不是沒有，而是自己沒有把握住，這就是成長需要交的學費。
對於這批預備隊的年輕球員來說 ，過去2年時間是他們職業足球生涯最最寶貴也是最值得銘記的一段日子 ，要是沒有疫情的突然爆發，可能他們中的巨大多數人是沒機會參加去年足協杯比賽的，更不用說今年的亞冠了 。有了去年在足協杯舞台上的表現和發揮 ，讓他們得到了廣泛的認可 ，而經過中乙聯賽以及全運會預賽的鍛煉 ，出現在亞冠舞台上的這批年輕人其實有了職業聯賽的一點點經曆 ，並且在一些全國比賽中也收獲了信心 ，這都是難能可貴的 。
而在烏茲別克斯坦的這6場比賽 ，更是足以讓他們每個人銘記一輩子 ，從首場比賽就能打進1球獲得1分，到後來連續麵對日韓勁旅被打得落花流水 ，再到二次遇到菲律賓球隊一度取得閃電領先卻最終飲恨賽場 ，這些都讓大家認清楚了自己的實力 。以20歲出頭的年紀，能在20天的時間裏抗下這麽多高強度的比賽 ，這本身就不易 ，而認清楚自己差距的同時 ，也從對手身上學習到他們先進的足球理念 、戰術和技術 ，這就算沒白去 。
段德智 ，冷季軒 ，胡嘉祺 ，江文豪 ，梁少文 ，阮奇龍 ，如果你看過這屆比賽的話 ，對於這些位球員的名字應該不會陌生 ，他們不但是這支國安隊前中後三條線的核心 ，同時也是國安乃至中國足球未來的希望 ，他們中的部分球員已經在本賽季注冊在一線隊並有過跟隊訓練的經曆 ，期待結束亞冠之旅回到國內賽場的他們 ，還能憑借自己的刻苦努力 ，去贏得主帥的信任 ，早日在成年隊獲得出場比賽的機會 。
