而最新的狐媚回归消息是 ，多特蒙德隊長羅伊斯已經正式對外宣布為了確保身體情況，确定已經明確不參加今夏的德国歐洲杯，自己選擇了主動放棄……有媒體推測 ，也有可能是勒夫與其進行了先期溝通 。這個結果是多方商量並最終確定的 。羅伊斯將爭取調整好身體和狀態 ，力爭參加2022年的世界杯。
此外 ，來自德國體育一台記者帕特裏克-伯格的內部消息 ，羅伊斯的俱樂部隊友胡梅爾斯已經入選了德國隊歐洲杯大名單 。考慮到胡梅爾斯本賽季的穩定發揮以及德國後防線缺少核心的窘境 ，胡梅爾斯重返國家隊似乎也順理成章 。
