北京時間8月31日 ，官方據利物浦官方公告 ，利物拉赫紅軍隊長亨德森與球隊續下一份新約 ，浦续但俱樂部方麵並未透露他的约队新合同年限 。
利物浦在這個夏天在轉會窗口的长亨差萨運作並不為人們所看好 ，除了早早拿下科納特 ，德森以彌補上個賽季中後衛位置出現真空從而影響成績外，马内紅軍在轉會市場上隻有傳聞 ，官方再沒有任何實質性的利物拉赫補強 。考慮到維納爾杜姆的浦续離隊，人們普遍認為的约队中場中路引援目前來看似乎也沒有更大進境。
反而是长亨差萨在續約問題上 ，利物浦在這個夏天堪稱做到了極致，德森阿利森，马内範迪克 ，官方阿諾德 ，羅伯遜 ，法比尼奧 ，現在又輪到了亨德森 ，紅軍將整個中後場幾乎完全的通過續約保存了下來 ，並且確保了俱樂部在未來幾年時間內的可持續發展空間 。
不過值得一提的是 ，紅箭三俠之中的薩拉赫與馬內同樣麵臨續約問題 ，兩人與安菲爾德的合同都隻有2年時間了 ，這也是目前這個階段利物浦的工作重點之一 。如果這兩名大腿球員以目前的合同進入明年夏窗，俱樂部將不得不麵臨可能發生的人財兩失的窘境 。
紅軍官網發布了亨德森的續約感言 ，作為隊長的他充分的表達了對於俱樂部的愛 ，畢竟今年六月份他剛剛慶祝了自己為利物浦出戰10年的好日子 。截止目前為止亨德森代表紅軍出戰394次 ，攻入了30個進球，獲得了5個冠軍 。
