2019年日本行期間 ，巴萨巴薩球員登貝萊錄製了一段視頻 ，回应合作格列茲曼也出現在視頻當中 。登贝在這段視頻裏 ，莱事登貝萊涉嫌對日本員工有種族歧視言論 ，球迷歉此事近日引發風波 。巴萨巴薩讚助商之一日本樂天也已對此表達了抗議 。回应合作
本周三，登贝巴薩發布公告 ，莱事對此事做出回應，球迷歉“近日有一段視頻在社交媒體上流傳 ，巴萨視頻中巴薩兩名一線隊球員登貝萊與格列茲曼對幾名酒店員工態度缺乏尊重 ，回应合作巴薩對於日本和亞洲球迷感到的登贝不快深表遺憾 。”
“這一態度與巴薩代表和捍衛的莱事價值觀完全不符 。巴薩俱樂部會捍衛自己的球迷歉價值觀。俱樂部承諾將在涉及種族 、歧視和多樣性問題上加強教育 。在巴薩 ，種族主義沒有容身之地 。”
“巴薩希望向所有感到不快的俱樂部球迷與合作方公開道歉 。目前的管理層將承諾確保類似事件不再發生 。當事球員已經表示出悔意 ，並向日本球迷和讚助方道歉 。俱樂部將保留采取內部處理措施的權利 。”
