目前，英媒曼聯主帥索爾斯克亞和利物浦主帥克洛普就紅魔得到的索帅帅对點球數再次展開了“口水戰” 。索爾斯克亞表示 ，渣叔责在上一輪英超聯賽對陣西漢姆聯的为点比賽中，曼聯本應該獲得2-3個點球 ，球吵但最終一個都沒有 ，架穆他認為裁判這樣做與上賽季克洛普的此负相關言論有關係。而英國媒體《鏡報》則表示 ，背锅前曼聯主帥、英媒現羅馬主帥穆裏尼奧應該為這場關於曼聯獲點數的索帅帅对爭論負責。因為曼聯球員拉什福德曾公開表示 ，渣叔责穆帥在執教紅魔時就“指導”過球員們 ，为点該如何更“精明”的球吵獲得點球 。
去年1月 ，架穆克洛普在接受采訪時說道 ：“我們沒法改變情況 ，我剛聽說曼聯在兩年裏得到的點球比我執教五年半裏得到的還要多 。我不知道這是不是我的錯 ，也不知道怎麽會發生這種事 。”
根據此前曼聯前鋒拉什福德的言論，在索爾斯克亞的前任穆裏尼奧的指導下 ，曼聯似乎很善於在禁區內獲得點球 。拉什福德曾說過 ：“穆裏尼奧告訴球隊在點球區域要更‘精明’ ，從而有效地幫助球員‘贏得’點球 。”
在曼聯對陣維拉的英超賽前發布會上 ，索爾斯克亞表示 ：“我隻是希望我們能得到我們贏得的 ，在過去的兩場比賽中 ，我們該得到三個點球 。去年有個教練擔心我們得到太多的點球 ，從那時起 ，判罰標準變得非常不同 。但是我們隻能讓裁判來決定 ，希望他們很快能做出正確的判罰。”
上賽季 ，曼聯在英超賽場得到了11個點球 ，但其中隻有5個點球是在克洛普表達質疑之後得到的。而這個賽季的情況則截然不同 ，裁判已經判給利物浦2個點球了 ，而曼聯則還沒有拿到1個點球。2018年12月份 ，索爾斯克亞被任命為曼聯主帥，在他上任之後 ，紅魔在各項賽事中獲得了49個點球 ，而同期的利物浦僅得到22個 。
