值得一提的是 ，據此前外媒統計 ，捷克傳奇射手比坎的生涯進球數有759球、805球兩種說法 ，捷克足協稱比坎的生涯進球數為821球 ，曼聯官方在此采用的是比坎805球這種說法 。其實就算比坎的進球數以821球來計入 ，以C羅如今的狀態 ，超越比821球的比坎似乎也隻是時間問題 。
根據賽後的技術統計 ，對陣熱刺的帽子戲法是C羅職業生涯的第59次帽子戲法。比賽結束之後 ，《天空體育》更新了在英超斬獲帽子戲法的球員年齡排行 ，C羅則是以37歲35天的年紀排在第二位 ，收獲帽子戲法最年長的英超球員則是謝林漢姆（37歲146天） 。可以這樣講 ，能夠在這樣的年紀戴帽再加上那807球的進球紀錄 ，C羅可以當之無愧的成為世界足壇第一人 。
