北京時間2月1日20 ：00，范志大年初一晚上，毅国应该世亞預12強賽B組第8輪，善始善终國足將在客場挑戰越南 。完成賽前前國腳範誌毅在個人節目中展望了比賽 ，强赛並談到了中國足球未來的接下發展方向。
回顧上場與日本隊的彻底比賽 ，中國隊做出多個位置調整 ，洗牌範誌毅認為 ：“李指導接手以後對於戰術打法有他自己本身的范志一個想法 ，包括整個國家隊人員的毅国应该配置 ，李指導出來也調整了不少年輕球員 ，善始善终也是完成一件好事情，大家都知道出線已經沒有希望了 ，强赛通過一些年輕球員的接下使用是正確的 。對於日本隊的彻底比賽對中國來說不是一場比賽 ，想要回到亞洲一二流序列的話 ，就是通過這樣的大賽來積累一些經驗 ，讓更多的年輕球員能夠上場比賽是好事情 。”
談到李霄鵬和李鐵的技戰術區別 ，範誌毅表示 ：“每個教練員都有自己的打法和人員的變化 ，這兩個教練的風格沒有說是很鮮明的 ，每個教練都有自己的想法，這是好事情，對於現在的中國隊來說要確立自己的風格 ，從李鐵換成李霄鵬 ，都應該積極支持他 ，作為兩個年輕教練來說 ，一直是自己在這個路上 ，去不斷突破 ，去不斷嚐試和接受挑戰 ，還是要積極支持，可以通過這樣一場比賽，認定這個做法是正確的 ，包括在今後的周期中去充實自己的空間 ，形成自己的風格 。”
展望大年初一的中越之戰，範誌毅表示 ：“作為職業球員 ，職業操守和職業道德還是要擺在第一位的 ，我覺得他們們會更加努力的完成好 ，善始善終完成好比賽 。”談到越南潮濕的環境 ，範誌毅表示：“的確會有一些客觀原因 ，就像那時候我們在迪拜 ，特殊時期我覺得這個對於中國隊來說並不重要 。”
談到中國足球的未來發展 ，範誌毅認為 ：“還是更多的從年輕選手上麵考慮 ，如何搞好梯隊層次建設，按照奧運年齡段 ，更好的去做好這種銜接 ，紮紮實實 ，這些年輕教練包括整個隊伍的戰術打法必須確立起來 。因為從很多比賽過程當中來說 ，現在控球尤其是攻防轉換瞬間 ，丟球後奪回球權，有球權後的控製 ，我覺得最重要的還是把隊員的自身能力提高 ，自身能力提高了整體就強了 。”
至於接下來國足整體應該在哪裏轉變 ，範誌毅表示 ：“還是更多的給年輕球員機會 ，徹底的洗牌，讓更多的年輕球員去打高質量比賽 ，需要一些精神 ，又是一個周期短 備戰 ，大家應該有緊迫感和使命感 。”範誌毅繼續表示 ：“在新的周期國際比賽日 ，應該讓年輕球員更多的展現自己 。”
