在羅薩裏奧，西造吸金目前共有15條旅遊專線 ，雕像其中一條就是已开梅西專線 。在這條線路上 ，旅游利器覆蓋著梅西在羅薩裏奧的专线全部生活軌跡 ，例如梅西出生地、梅西的學校 、梅西的舊宅 、梅西打進第一球的球場等等 。“通過這條線路 ，你可以了解梅西在羅薩裏奧的整個故事，從他的出生地 、訓練場直到他加盟巴薩 。”羅薩裏奧體育和旅遊部長吉裏奧內說道 ，“這座城市通過各種方式來表達對梅西的尊敬和喜愛 ，這裏有很多與梅西有關的噴繪和壁畫 ，這都成了城市經典 ，很多外地遊客來拍照 。通過這條線路 ，可以重溫梅西在羅薩裏奧生活的全部 。旅遊業對我們很重要，很多外地遊客都想來了解這座梅西誕生的城市 。”
吉裏奧內希望梅西能回到羅薩裏奧退役 ：“梅西每年都會在聖誕節回來 ，歡度節日並探望家人 。對我們而言 ，梅西就是羅薩裏奧最重要的大使。如果梅西能在這裏退役 ，那我們這座城市就會擁有梅西職業生涯的終點 ，這會非常有意義。對於我們而言，那可就太棒了 。”
吉裏奧內表示羅薩裏奧要為梅西造雕像 ：“我們把梅西作為羅薩裏奧的標誌 ，我們需要好好利用這一點 。很多人是為了梅西來羅薩裏奧，他出生的地方就是遊客最多的景點之一。遊客谘詢最多的旅遊線路 ，就是梅西專線 。與梅西有關的運氣誒 ，都能成為社交媒體的焦點 ，如今的熱點就是梅西的新噴繪 。我們計劃修建一座梅西雕像 ，以便全世界遊客可以來合影留念 。”
