北京時間9月30日 ，據西班牙賽爾電台報道 ，黎为里退巴黎聖日耳曼的梅西阿根廷超巨梅西 ，已經收到了來自於俱樂部的开出續約報價。大巴黎為他提供了一份新的续约1+1的續約合同 。
在巴黎提出的合同續約合同中，梅西所獲得的年限薪資條件與現存合同幾乎一致 ，預計年薪達到3000萬歐，曝巴合同至2024年 ，黎为里退但最高可以延長至2025年，梅西屆時他將年滿38歲 。开出
梅西與巴黎的续约現行合同簽訂於2021年的夏窗 ，合同期限兩年 ，合同含一年的年限續約選項 。
此前有關於梅西將於明年夏天回歸巴薩的曝巴說法，但賽爾電台的記者直斥了這一說法純屬謠言，並稱巴薩到現在為止都還欠著梅西很多錢 。
現年35歲的梅西本賽季開局表現相當搶眼 ，為巴黎出戰11場貢獻了6進球8助攻，還在最近兩場代表阿根廷隊出戰的比賽中連場梅開二度。
考慮到並駕齊驅的超巨C羅本賽季的掙紮表現 ，巴黎迫不及待的為梅西提出續約合同理所應當 ，畢竟阿根廷人除了在球場上貢獻精彩表現 ，同時也使得俱樂部的商業價值大幅增長 。
