北京時間8月20日，女足女足FIFA官方網站公布了最新一期的排名國際足聯女足國家隊排名 。中國女足積分銳減60.79分 ，中国最新積分為1814.22分 ，积分總排名下跌兩位，锐减最新排名第17位 ，跌两雖然亞洲排名依然位列第四 ，位最但僅領先韓國女足不到4分 。新排新科奧運冠軍加拿大女足排名提升兩位，名第升至第六；美國女足則繼續領跑總榜單 。女足女足
這是排名繼4月16日和6月25日後 ，國際足聯今年第三次公布女足國家隊排名 ，中国也是积分東京奧運會後首次公布 。在東京奧運會上 ，锐减由賈秀全率領的跌两中國女足0-5不敵巴西隊 、4-4平讚比亞隊 ，2-8完敗荷蘭隊 。最後1- 2負進6球失17球排名12支參賽隊的第10位 。
在東京奧運會的慘淡戰績讓中國女足的積分比上一期公布時少了60.79分 ，最新積分為1814.22分；總排名則下滑兩位，最新排名列第17位，在亞足聯榜單上則仍列朝鮮隊 、澳大利亞隊和日本隊之後排名第四，不過身後的韓國女足僅落後中國女足3.33分 。
總榜單方麵 ，美國女足雖然積分減少了87.04分 ，但由於之前優勢明顯 ，所以仍以2110.25分領跑，東京奧運會亞軍瑞典女足積分增加了78.20分 ，從上一期的第五名一舉躍居次席位置，德國女足、荷蘭女足和法國女足分列三至五位 。讚比亞女足因為逼平中國女足 ，排名提升了10位。不僅重返前100行列 ，並且還達到了史上最高的第94位 。
前十球隊中隻有朝鮮女足一支亞足聯球隊 ，不過比較諷刺的是朝鮮女足在近兩年多的時間裏都沒有出戰國際賽事 。12月10日 ，國際足聯將公布女足國家隊的2021年年終排名 。（卓奧友）
