First came Bruce Springsteen, then came Bryan Adams.
The rocker is canceling an upcoming show in Mississippi due to a new law that discriminates against the LGBT community there. House Bill 1523 allows public and private businesses to refuse service to LGBT couples if it conflicts with their religious beliefs.

Adams' cancellation comes on the heels of Bruce Springsteen canceling a show in North Carolina. A similar anti-LGBT bill was passed there, which also requires transgender people to use bathrooms that correspond with the sex shown on their birth certificates.
"Some things are more important than a rock show and this fight against prejudice and bigotry — which is happening as I write — is one of them," Springsteen wrote in a statement. "It is the strongest means I have for raising my voice in opposition to those who continue to push us backwards instead of forwards."
