目前 ，申花13戰6勝4平3負積22分 ，排名蘇州賽區第3位 ，北京國安13戰6勝3平4負積21分為例第5 。明晚的比賽 ，申花隻要不輸給國安 ，就能晉級爭冠組，而國安隻有獲勝這華山一條路 。對於這一晉級形勢，毛毅軍表示 ：“現在外界一直在幫我進行各種分析，但我從沒有從這個角度去想過 。對我來說 ，每場比賽都是全力爭勝 ，我們會為了勝利而備戰 ，我相信我的隊員們也都知道我的這一指導思想 。”也就是說 ，申花不會為保平而戰 。
本輪比賽 ，國安方麵高天意累積黃牌停賽 ，這讓他們在U23隊員的使用上會麵臨一定的困難 。國安主教練比利奇表示 ，球隊在U23球員上調整餘地不大 ，需要想出好的解決方案。在談到明晚對陣申花的比賽時 ，比利奇說 ：“這場比賽很重要，相當於一場決賽 ，這樣的比賽不需要去動員隊員們知道該怎麽做 。當然 ，我們需要去找到一個平衡點 ，既要把這場比賽看得重要 ，又不能過於緊張 。我們要像對陣亞泰時一樣 ，做出適當的陣型改變 。”
