本屆歐洲杯小組賽首輪的集合及梅重頭戲——法國vs德國——即將打響，這場“死亡之組”中世界冠軍對陣世界冠軍的莱因罗較量引發各方關注 。英格蘭名宿萊因克爾就高盧雄雞的梅吹姆巴超級巨星坯子姆巴佩未來可能達到何種高度發表了自己的觀點 。在萊因克爾看來，集合及梅姆巴佩未來完全有可能達到C羅今日之高度 ，莱因罗但永遠無法觸及梅西的梅吹姆巴巔峰水平 。充分展現了一名“梅吹”的集合及梅自我修養 。
“姆巴佩早已成為一名最有可能世界級球星，莱因罗他最有可能取代C羅的梅吹姆巴位置 ，但絕對不是集合及梅梅西——這位可以完成別人根本做不到的事情的傳奇 。姆巴佩的莱因罗才華毋庸置疑 ，更重要的梅吹姆巴是 ，他是集合及梅否有同C羅和梅西一般 ，維持17和19年巔峰狀態的莱因罗動力。這是相當了不起的，需要一些特殊的因素才能實現這點。”

“我們在歐冠中見證了哈蘭德和姆巴佩的表演 ，很快我們會在歐洲杯上看到姆巴佩的表現。同時我也希望 ，英格蘭隊能有一兩個小夥 ，不管是福登 、芒特或者桑喬 ，打出同樣出色的水平 。”
萊因克爾特別提及了未能進入1比0複仇克羅地亞之戰大名單的桑喬，“我愛桑喬 ，我想那些很少關注英格蘭聯賽以外的球迷會對桑喬的表現驚訝無比。另外 ，我同樣看好貝林厄姆和巴雷拉（意大利中場） ，法國隊中同樣擁有很多非常優秀的青年才俊 。”
