3-1擊敗敘利亞隊 ！世预赛亚生中中國隊在世預賽亞洲區40強賽重啟後不僅如願拿到四連勝 ，洲区同時還在八個小組第二球隊的强球齐聚成績比拚中位居首位 ，從而如願晉級世預賽亞洲區12強賽 ！队产目前 ，日韩12強球隊全部產生 ：以小組頭名出線的澳伊球隊有 ：敘利亞隊、澳大利亞隊 、国足伊朗隊、列档沙特阿拉伯隊 、世预赛亚生中日本隊 、洲区阿聯酋隊 、强球齐聚韓國隊 。队产五個最好成績小組第二晉級的日韩隊伍則有 ：中國隊、伊拉克隊 、澳伊阿曼隊 、国足越南隊和黎巴嫩隊 。
根據目前掌握的消息 ，12強賽分組抽簽儀式將於北京時間6月24日15點在馬來西亞吉隆坡的文華東方酒店舉行 。12支球隊將被分為六個檔位，分檔根據5月份的國際足聯世界排名區分 。排名第77位的中國隊列第四檔 ，與阿聯酋同處一檔 。
一檔種子隊是 ：日本（28） 、伊朗（31）
二檔：韓國（39）、澳大利亞（41）
三檔：沙特阿拉伯（65） 、伊拉克（68）
四檔 ：阿聯酋（73） 、中國（77）
五檔 ：敘利亞（79） 、阿曼（80）
六檔 ：越南（92） 、黎巴嫩（93） 。
屆時12強球隊將被分為兩個小組 ，每組六支球隊 。比賽日期目前定於2021年9月2日至2022年3月29日進行 。每組的前兩名球隊將直接獲得2022年國際足聯世界杯的參賽資格，而兩個排名小組第三的球隊將進行第四輪角逐第五名，比賽初步定於2022年5月或6月進行 。（卓奧友）
