而英國《每日郵報》 ，則對曾為埃裏克森體檢的倫敦聖喬治大學醫生進行了采訪 。醫生表示 ，在此前的檢查中 ，埃裏克森的心髒情況良好 ，沒有任何心律不齊的征召 。
“我當時在想：‘我的天啊！是有什麽我們之前沒有發現的隱患嗎？但我親眼看過所有的檢查結果，一切都非常完美 。’從我們簽合同的那天起 ，每年我都會給他做檢查 ，他在2019年前的結果都完全正常。沒有任何心律不齊的征召 ，我對此可以保證 ，因為那是我本人親自完成的 。”
