《世界體育報》還指出，巴薩要求登貝萊跳過經紀人西索科，直接與俱樂部高層就其續約問題進行對話。登貝萊將續約談判一事完全委托給了西索科 ，但西索科對巴薩獅子大開口 。按照加泰媒體的說法 ，西索科向巴薩替登貝萊索要最高5000萬歐元的稅前年薪 ，這讓俱樂部高層完全無法接受 。巴薩高層認為西索科在談判中的行為非常不職業 ，並希望登貝萊跳過經紀人 ，直接與俱樂部商談續約 。
