在最後一次與拉莫斯對話時 ，索万弗洛倫蒂諾這樣對皇馬隊長說道 ：“你以為我們是费税在談判 ，但其實我們並不是后年在談判 。在你說自己不會留隊時 ，起拉签字我們就同意簽下了阿拉巴。索万並不是费税我們撤回了報價，而是你自己談崩了 。”皇馬是在5月29日官宣簽下阿拉巴的 ，這意味著當時拉莫斯就已經被放棄了 。
佩德雷洛爾還指出，目前有一家豪門對引進拉莫斯很感興趣 ，但拉莫斯本人卻獅子大張口。拉莫斯索要2000萬歐元簽字費，同時還要求得到1500萬歐元的稅後年薪 。拉莫斯已經35歲了 ，沒有任何豪門有可能滿足他的這一報價 。
究竟是哪家豪門在追求拉莫斯？曼城據悉已經退出了拉莫斯爭奪戰 ，曼聯近年來也在致力於年輕化進程 。真正有可能滿足拉莫斯要求的 ，似乎也隻剩下巴黎聖日耳曼了 。除非巴黎真把姆巴佩賣給皇馬，否則即便是這種土豪球隊 ，也很難有足夠的工資額度引進拉莫斯。
