25日 ，來自國家企業信用信息公開係統的保名消息顯示 ，北京中赫國安俱樂部已更名為北京國安俱樂部。后足這意味著 ，协仍在俱樂部名稱中性化過程中 ，受抨说改國安很有可能保住舊招牌 。击规
足協要求俱樂部名稱去企業化的则们工作遇到了很大阻力 ，一是国安改因為這關係到投資人的利益；二是有些俱樂部名稱已經使用多年 ，在球迷心目中早已根深蒂固 ，保名直接棄用並不是后足很理性的做法 。
綠地申花、协仍魯能泰山通過剔除企業字號，受抨说改分別留下了申花 、击规泰山的则们名稱，結果還算比較理想 ，国安改國安這一名稱因為與股東字號相同 ，想要留下來就非常麻煩 。這段時間以來 ，中赫與中信一直在就股份轉讓問題進行協商 ，但遲遲沒有完成操作 。
因為早已過了足協原定的時限，雖然保住國安名號是眾望所歸 ，足協仍然飽受抨擊 。規則是他們定的 ，但他們總是說改就改 。
現在俱樂部在工商部門完成了更名 ，從中赫國安變成了國安 ，這與足協要求的俱樂部名稱中性化是兩回事 ，但走到這一步 ，被認為距離保留原有名稱成功已經很近了 。上周中國足協主席陳戌源也說 ，北京國安的名稱很大程度會保留 。
