北京時間3月12日 ，欲挖據德國媒體《derwesten》報道 ，多特由於替補門將努貝爾可能離隊 ，主力因此拜仁將目光鎖定在多特門將布爾基身上 ，门神希望將其簽下 ，拿给诺伊作為諾伊爾的尔当替補 。
去年夏天 ，替补努貝爾以自由轉會的拜仁方式加盟拜仁 。據媒體報道 ，欲挖努貝爾本得到了承諾 ，多特本賽季會得到10次左右的主力出場機會 。但迄今為止 ，门神努貝爾隻有過兩次出場 ，拿给诺伊一次是尔当德國杯首輪 ，一次是歐冠小組賽客場對陣馬競 ，兩場比賽均是無關痛癢之戰。
由於缺乏機會 ，努貝爾不排除今夏會被外租練級 。《圖片報》此前報道 ，前世界冠軍齊勒有望接過努貝爾的二門角色 。齊勒目前被漢諾威租借至科隆 ，今夏存在著50萬歐元的解約條款 。但如今 ，多特門神布爾基則成為了最新的話題 。
《derwesten》指出，在拜仁內部 ，布爾基成為了一個話題 ，可能會成為球隊新賽季二門的人選。不過另一家媒體《Nau》則反駁說：拜仁對布爾基沒有興趣 ，無論球員還是其經紀人 ，都沒有收到過拜仁方麵的谘詢 。布爾基與多特的合同至2023年到期 ，球員完全專注於效力多特 。
本賽季 ，布爾基繼續扮演著多特主力門將的角色 ，各項賽事出場20場，總計丟球27球 ，完成7次零封 。
