北京時間1月3日 ，图赫天和谈切爾西主教練圖赫爾在賽後的尔明采訪徹底點燃了盧卡庫事件所引起的軒然大波 。
圖赫爾賽後直言：“我們將在明天(星期一)決定 ，库进會和盧卡庫有一次會麵然後將決定通知你們 。永远這不是保护世界上最糟糕的事情，而且這也不是图赫天和谈第一次有采訪引起一些沒有必要的噪音 。但我們能處理好 ，尔明因為我不覺得這是库进人身攻擊 。”
而圖赫爾同時透露他向球隊內部的永远球員尋求了意見 ：“我不會坐在自己的辦公室關起門來靠自己的冥想作決定 ，我有五到六名球員需要聽取他們的保护意見 ，聽取他們的图赫天和谈想法，然後在聽取他們的尔明意見後再做決定 。我現在不能告訴你結果 ，库进因為我們需要談話 ，永远了解更多的保护情況，我們會繼續處理這件事 。一旦情況明朗 ，他將繼續是我們的球員 ，我們將保護我們的球員 。”
