隨著EDG的称电奪冠 ，電競再次成為輿論熱門討論的竞早話題 ，今天淩晨 ，取代北大學者王小東在社媒發文 ，足球曾因表示“電競早晚會取代足球 ，炮轰成為新一代的国足生活方式 ，我們老年人別看不慣” 。热议
王小東曾因在社媒炮轟國足引發爭議，称电曾發布言論稱“ 談到貢獻 ，竞早中國男足就算回回拿世界杯 ，取代貢獻也比不上北大和清華 。足球曾因比不上任何一個學校 ，炮轰任何一個係 。国足”
王小東今天在社媒發文寫道 ：“看到這次EDG得了冠軍 ，热议這麽多年輕人這麽激動 ，称电讓我想起了我在大學的年代 ，我們對於足球 ，對於女排 ，那些狂熱行為也是差不多的。
一代人有一代人喜歡的東西 ，一代人有一代人的活法 。我看電競取代足球成為老百姓最喜歡的遊戲是早晚的事。
這時候我就想起了這麽多的叔叔 、阿姨 、大爺 、大媽反對電遊，反對電競 ，拚命的想限製 ，最後搞出了限遊令 。
限遊令是對的 ，過分沉迷於電遊 ，電競 ，確實影響學習工作身心健康 。問題是 ，通宵看足球就不影響學習工作身心健康嗎 ？為什麽沒有限電視台播放足球比賽令 ？也限製到隻有在周末才能播放足球比賽 ，一次限一小時 ？所以 ，很難讓人信服 ，限遊令是為了年輕人好 ，而不是欺負人 ，欺負年輕人不掌權……
特別是很多女性不知為什麽都跳了出來 ，這麽仇恨我們的孩子電競拿了冠軍 。我估計她們雖然比我年輕不少 ，但也至少是阿姨 、嬸嬸了 ，年輕一代的女孩子也不會恪守她們的生活方式……
總而言之 ，我支持年輕人有自己的生活方式 。電競挺好的 ，我為中國的年輕一代高興 ，他們能贏得電競 ，說明他們的智商高 ，腦快眼快手快……他們是我們的孩子 ，我們應該為他們取得的成績自豪而不是嫉妒……”
