Back in March, SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk teased a hat for the Boring Company, his new whimsically named tunnel digging firm that hopes to alleviate bad traffic and also make Hyperloop adoption viable. 。

So far, Musk's Boring Company plans seem to be coming along smoothly. He posted a progress photo back in August of a tunnel under Los Angeles, with a Model S at its mouth. 。
The plan is to have cars lowered down into the tunnel by lift, then pushed onto a magnetic platform which will transport them on rail at speeds of up to 124 mph (199 kph).。
