談到國足在4輪過後的毅肯预测戰績，範誌毅認為是定支对阵意料之中的 ，並表示對陣阿曼不能輕敵 ，持和“12強賽所有的理解李铁對手都是有實力的 ，阿曼隊一直扮演的范志是黑馬這種角色 ，不能說通過我們分析或者對對手的毅肯预测認知 ，就覺得我們能贏得這場比賽 ，定支对阵我覺得還是持和要做好困難的準備 ，這支阿曼的理解李铁韌勁遠遠不同於20年前的一支隊伍 。”
隨後範誌毅表示支持李鐵 ，“不管李鐵指導如何排兵布陣 ，我覺得還是要信任李鐵 ，還是球員自身能力的問題 ，李鐵會根據不同對手安排陣容 ，如果洛國富上場但沒有出現上一場的狀態，該怎麽解釋 。下課不下課對教練來說是件正常的事情 ，要知道實際這種困難的情況，包括國家隊現實的實力 。”
“不是說我去當國家隊教練 ，我就能當國家隊教練 ，我也不知道球迷哪來的盲目自信 ，通過各種分析得出中國隊準備進入世界杯的結論 ，都是以這樣的心態來看待的話 ，就會出現下課這個問題了 。”範誌毅說道 。
在預測比分時 ，範誌毅表示 ：“贏是1比0，最差的結局是1比1，我內心其實一直認為這場表示是1比1 。”（富奇）
