弗裏克在上個賽季以救火教練的分成弗里身份贏得了三冠王 ，成為了拜仁隊史上的两派离开功勳主帥。本賽季 ，克或弗裏克帶隊的接手拜仁成績不錯 ，贏得了德國超級杯 、德国歐洲超級杯以及世俱杯 ，拜仁拜仁同時在本賽季德甲接近衛冕 。
但是這位冠軍教頭與球隊體育總監薩利哈米季奇在轉會與續約等問題上存在非常多的矛盾 。比如，弗裏克要求得到德斯特與奧多伊 ，但是薩利哈米季奇簽下了薩爾與科斯塔 。阿拉巴與蒂亞戈與弗裏克關係非常好 ，他們向弗裏克訴苦說薩利哈米季奇不尊重球員。
《圖片報》稱 ，在拜仁高層 ，也存在兩種不同的聲音。魯格格明顯支持弗裏克 ，海納和赫內斯都是傾向於薩利哈密季奇，而卡恩至今沒有明確表態 ，由於明年一月卡恩將正式接替魯格格執掌整個拜仁公司 ，他的態度將對弗裏克的未來起關鍵作用 。
