2017賽季進入一線隊後 ，魏震在聯賽 、对说足協杯和亞冠當中相繼迎來首秀 ，成长外界以為 ，线队這個年輕人將就此一步步確定自己在球隊中的苦尽位置 ，然而一樁潛在的魏震轉會事件 ，一度令他錯過了2018這個對球隊而言最為難忘的对说賽季 。一年時間 ，成长有過仿徨卻不曾放棄 ，线队直到年底和年輕的苦尽隊友們一起在U23聯賽奪冠 ，魏震在海港俱樂部和自己的魏震共同努力下 ，站上了新起點 。对说
那一年的成长魏震是怎麽過的？這個問題 ，魏震自己也想了挺久 ，线队似乎已經過去很久，苦尽但又像前幾天剛發生的事情一樣 ，時刻讓人回顧和總結過往 。
"首先最重要的還是自己 ，其實無論是什麽樣的問題 ，起初身邊的朋友和家人都會來開導你，但自身的心態總會有調整的過程 ，通過時間的沉澱 ，加上自己的信念，逐漸調整過來 。"魏震說 。遠離聚光燈 ，讓他有了更多時間和空間，那段時間裏，他重新回到了位於青浦的東方綠舟訓練基地，與比自己更年輕的99 、01年齡段梯隊小球員訓練 。看著那些冒著大太陽揮灑汗水的小師弟 ，魏震仿佛看到了並不遙遠的那個曾經的自己 ，同樣是在這片場地上磨練，然後和隊友接連拿到青運會 、全運會的冠軍 ，不忘初心 ，莫過如此 。
"不是在家 ，就是在綠舟，主要也是保持身體狀態 。"魏震說 。身在綠舟 ，魏震其實不會太無聊 ，這裏有他的幾個97-98屆隊友 ，曾經帶過他的海港俱樂部青訓總監成耀東的辦公室也在那裏，時不時地餐廳"偶遇"一下 ，成耀東會經常拉上魏震聊聊天 ，一邊敦促 、一邊鼓勵 。
直到2018年12月 ，海港隊派出97-98屆球員和部分梯隊球員參加首屆U23聯賽 ，結果一路過關斬將還贏下申花，最終捧起冠軍獎杯。魏震是那支球隊中的主力中衛，雖然一年時間沒有怎麽經曆過正式比賽 ，但有過一線隊的錘煉後能看得出來，魏震踢這些比賽時的心態已經非常平穩 ，場上表現也足夠自信。走下領獎台 ，當時上港方麵的一位高層與魏震握手後說 ："魏震 ，要繼續好好努力 ，吸取教訓 。"無論是海港，還是魏震 ，都不曾放棄 。
"2017賽季進入一線隊到現在 ，五年時間 ，我覺得還是苦盡甘來的感覺更多一些 。"今年聯賽對陣天津津門虎 ，魏震打入了個人中超生涯首粒進球 ，他真正有了一些"重新開始"的感覺 。
2018年11月的奪冠之夜，球隊2比1贏下貴州人和 ，魏震獨自一人悄悄來到八萬人體育場 ，觀看了全場比賽 ，"還是很恭喜球隊的 ，2017年我在隊裏時 ，老大哥們都對我很照顧 ，球隊的氛圍也很好 ，最終拿到了夢寐以求的冠軍獎杯 ，我們幾個年輕的也為他們感到高心 。"
"如果沒有當時那些事情的話 ，你可能也在場上或場邊 ？"
對這個問題 ，魏震已經可以用一種不同的角度去看待 ，"是有這個可能 ，但或許結果也會不同 ，不是嗎 ？可能性太多了 ，任何事情它都有潛在的連鎖反應 。"
現在去回顧自己的2018 ，魏震說 ："對我來說 ，那是成長的經驗 ，也確實是稱得上是坎坷和挫折 。但是在人生當中難免會有調整的時期，就像一隻股票 ，不可能一直漲 ，也會有一些起伏 ，但是隻要能夠再起來 ，那就還是一隻好股票。"
