申花隊長莫雷諾日前接受采訪 ，申花生涯赛季稱很可能在本賽季哥倫比亞春季聯賽結束之後宣布掛靴 。功勋莫雷諾稱自己目前確實很有這方麵的队长考慮 ，但是即将结束结束尚未作出最終的決定 。
“對我來說 ，职业理想的莫雷退役時間是6月 ，希望到時候我們能夠奪冠。考虑我一直夢想能夠實現在國內聯賽奪冠的后退願望，這對我退役是申花生涯赛季錦上添花的事情 。這是功勋現在最重要的事 ，我認真考慮過了 。队长”莫雷諾在接受哥倫比亞媒體采訪時說 。即将结束结束
作為申花俱樂部曆史上最成功的职业外援，申花功勳隊長 ，莫雷莫雷諾從哥倫比亞國內聯賽的考虑麥德林民族隊出道，隨後轉會到阿甲聯賽 ，2012年加盟上海申花 ，在申花效力整整10個賽季 ，上賽季中超聯賽常規賽階段結束之後，因為申花沒有殺入爭冠組 ，莫雷諾向俱樂部請假返回哥倫比亞 ，當時莫雷諾並沒有確定就此回國發展 ，他還有很多私人物品也都留在上海 。雖然合同2021年年底到期 ，但當時各種跡象都表明 ，隻要莫雷諾能夠接受降薪，他本賽季重返上海的可能性很大 。
但是因為疫情等原因 ，去年年底合同到期之後 ，莫雷諾沒有能夠再與申花續約 ，最終西奧選擇落葉歸根 ，重返家鄉的國民競技隊效力。本賽季的哥甲聯賽 ，他出場15次，打進2個進球 ，期間還經曆過一次非常嚴重的傷病 。
國民競技本賽季排名哥甲聯賽第三 ，根據賽製 ，接下來前八名球隊將進入淘汰賽階段 ，因此國民競技仍然有機會角逐春季聯賽冠軍 。莫雷諾表示 ，非常希望能夠在球場上回報球迷 ，希望能夠在6月達成所有人的目標 ，幫助俱樂部奪取聯賽冠軍 。
莫雷諾說 ：“盡管俱樂部俱樂部告訴我別去度假 ，但如果最終能夠隨隊奪冠 ，我就將在假期中度過剩餘的日子 ，這確實是我當前的想法 ，我希望我們能夠如願奪冠。我沒有考慮下賽季 ，也沒有考慮解放者杯 ，我現在隻想著幫助球隊奪冠 ，然後馬上休息 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
