《隊報》報道稱 ，拜仁CEO卡恩和體育主管薩利哈米季奇對科雷爾非常感興趣 ，在上周五對陣門興的德甲揭幕戰前 ，兩人與科雷爾的經紀團隊有過會麵 ，拜仁願意出價1200萬歐元 ，同時與其經紀團隊就一份3年期合同達成一致 ，球員本人也願意加盟德甲班霸 。
《隊報》指出 ，科雷爾曾經拒絕過勒沃庫森的邀請 ，因為他想要踢歐冠比賽 。此外，科雷爾還希望得到比在巴黎時更多的出場時間 ，以此來重新得到德國隊的征召 。值得一提的是 ，德國隊現任主帥弗裏克 ，在一年前還執教拜仁時就考慮過引進科雷爾 ，但被高層否決 。如今 ，在博阿滕 、阿拉巴 、哈維-馬丁內斯相繼離隊的情況下 ，高層更傾向於簽下科雷爾 。
