《天空體育》表示 ，事件曼城在賽後向利物浦投訴 ，曝利聲稱有一位紅軍球迷向曼城工作人員吐口水 ，物浦隨後利物浦俱樂部對此展開了調查。球迷據悉 ，城工查該事件發生在曼城第一次扳平比分後 ，作人正调肇事者還曾出現在轉播鏡頭中。员吐目前，口水利物浦正在對此進行調查。
