北京時間17日淩晨，爆棚败追早已經獲得世界杯正賽資格的法国法國客場對戰芬蘭 ，最終高盧雄雞2-0完勝對手，连续录結束了整個世預賽的场正比賽。需要指出的赛不史纪是 ，加上這場比賽 ，平队法國隊已經連續27場比賽保持不敗（不包括點球大戰） ，状态這也追平了22年前的爆棚败追紀錄 。
最近幾年 ，法国法國人才濟濟 ，连续录幾乎每個位置都有兩名世界級球星壓陣，场正因此也成為了當今世界的赛不史纪頂級強隊。盡管在今夏的平队歐洲杯上 ，法國在點球大戰中輸給了瑞士 ，状态無緣奪冠 。但是讓法國輸球，依舊非常的困難。
在本場對戰芬蘭的比賽前 ，法國隊已經連續26場國際比賽沒有輸球 ，最後一次輸球還是在2019年6月輸給了土耳其 。本輪對戰芬蘭的比賽 ，法國由於已經提前出線 ，戰鬥意誌並不足 ，但是最終本澤馬與姆巴佩接管了比賽 ，兩人各入一球 ，法國也得以2-0完勝芬蘭取得了勝利 。
而加上這場勝利，法國已經連續27場比賽保持不敗，這也追平了隊史1994年到1999年間連續27場不敗的紀錄。在這27場比賽中 ，法國贏球19次 ，平球8次 。
