尤文圖斯名宿馬西莫-毛羅近日在《共和報》的尤文專欄中談到了C羅 ，他承認C羅是名宿一位好球員，但他認為C羅將個人利益放在了球隊之上，炮轰是自私自利自终一位自私 、自利、究成自我的不领球員 ，終究成不了真正的尤文領袖 。
上輪意甲聯賽中，名宿尤文圖斯坐陣主場3-1戰勝熱那亞 。炮轰毛羅在專欄中表示：“尤文圖斯3-1戰勝熱那亞，自私自利自终我在比賽中看到的究成是非常出色的尤文圖斯 。我想說的不领是，尤文圖斯本賽季很少像這場比賽的尤文上半場一樣 ，表現得如此完美 ，名宿無論是炮轰控球還是傳接球，他們做得都堪稱完美。進攻行雲流水 ，速度也很快，而這種速度能夠讓莫拉塔 、拉比奧特和誇德拉多發揮出自己的最佳狀態 。尤文圖斯這場比賽的表現讓球隊士氣大振，這能夠讓全隊都充滿信心 ，讓球隊更加團結 ，這有利於建立一支能夠在下賽季歐冠中爭奪冠軍的隊伍 。”
尤文圖斯當家球星C羅在比賽中近距離補射擊中立柱 ，比賽結束之後 ，C羅“扔球衣”一事被無限放大 。毛羅對此發表了自己的觀點，他表示 ：“我要強調的是 ，皮爾洛很出色，他很有個性 ，擁有帶領尤文圖斯晉級歐冠聯賽的所有特製 。不和諧的聲音是 ，C羅在比賽結束後的舉動 ，這是因為他沒有在比賽中斬獲進球 ，也是他自我主義者的真實體現 。C羅是一名出色的球員，但他永遠成為不了領袖，因為在他看來 ，個人利益比俱樂部利益要更加重要 。C羅就像一家公司 ，隻會考慮自己的營業額。”
2018年世界杯結束之後，C羅和皇馬分道揚鑣 ，這位葡萄牙巨星頭頂1.17億歐元巨額轉會費光環從皇馬加盟尤文圖斯 ，C羅當時與尤文圖斯簽下了一份為期4年的合約 。來到安聯球場之後 ，C羅延續了出色的表現，他本賽季代表尤文圖斯共計出場37次 ，打進32球助攻5次 ，從數據上完全看不出C羅目前已經36歲 。
