北京時間5月14日淩晨的雙紅會前 ，利物浦的谍战大巴躲开球隊大巴在前往球場的路上遭到兩輛黑色轎車堵路 ，且大巴車的片利輪胎還被放了氣 。不過，物浦後續有媒體透露 ，使用這輛大巴隻是成功一個“誘餌” ，利物浦球員並不在這輛大巴上。球迷
此前 ，拦截由於曼聯球迷的诱饵抗議活動 ，雙紅會被迫推遲到當地時間本周四進行 。谍战大巴躲开在更改的片利比賽時間公布後 ，曼聯球迷組織表示 ，物浦將會再次組織抗議活動 。使用為了能讓比賽順利進行，成功兩家俱樂部也是球迷策劃了不少“戰術” 。據悉 ，利物浦為這場比賽準備了兩輛帶有利物浦隊徽的紅色大巴車，除此之外 ，還另準備了兩輛黑色的大巴在酒店待命 。
比賽之前，被球迷所攔截的紅色大巴車上沒有搭載任何一名球員 ，而就在抗議球迷正麵與警方對峙之時 ，載有紅軍球員、教練的真大巴車則成功“暗渡陳倉” ，在警方的護送下抄小路抵達了老特拉福德 。而主隊的曼聯球員 ，他們早在比賽開始前六個小時便已經抵達老特拉福德待命了 。
最終，這場比賽利物浦4-2擊敗了曼聯 ，拿下了爭四道路上的關鍵三分 ！
