一位女球迷在社交媒體上發文回憶了此事 ，她表示，當時主隊球迷向客隊球迷無差別攻擊時 ，所有人都慌了，隻能倉促逃跑。在麵臨危險時 ，一名克雷塔羅球迷將自己的球衣獻出 ，讓她穿上逃跑，而這件球衣上有著克雷塔羅全隊球員的簽名 。這名女球迷也在社媒上發文尋找那位幫助她的克雷塔羅球迷 ，並希望能將簽名球衣還給他 。
事情發生後 ，墨西哥甲級聯賽主席阿裏奧拉宣布第9輪剩餘比賽暫停，以聲援那些在事件中受到影響的人。
