在介紹球隊備戰時，安已廣州城主帥範加斯特表示 ：“我們備戰一如既往 ，经翻恢複為主 。篇最明天會把技戰術要點傳達給球員 。下场”
上一場廣州城出人意料的广州以5-0的比分大勝北京國安 ，談到上場的城主勝利 ，範加斯特表示：“確實上一場勝利後 ，帅大胜国我們還是安已非常開心的 ，但這已經翻篇了 ，经翻在足球世界裏最重要的篇最是下一場比賽，所以我們還是下场非常專注地去準備下一場比賽。希望下一場比賽我們能以同樣的广州狀態拿到好的成績 。”
對於目前球隊的狀況，範加斯特說道 ：“我覺得隊伍在賽季的總體穩定性有進步 。但很難預判我們是否能延續好的狀態 ，我們得把專注度放到技戰術要點裏 ，再帶著團隊精神踢這場比賽。”
被問及球員傷病問題 ，範加斯特表示 ：“胡睿寶上一場肌肉有些問題 ，申請了換人 ，但不嚴重 。當然這場比賽他還是不能踢，但他恢複不錯 ，再下一場有希望踢 。首發陣容我們還是可以湊齊11人 。”
上場比賽中 ，年僅16歲的小將蘇宇亮最後時刻替補登場 ，受到業內關注 ，對此 ，範加斯特表示 ：“我不太懂中文 ，直接看欄目（《今日關注》聚集蘇宇亮）很困難 。但我知道 ，蘇宇亮16歲很年輕 ，他的中超首秀是一個大的新聞，是值得鼓勵的 。他能在隊裏是有原因的 ，看球隊的需求，我相信蘇宇亮會獲得更多出場時間。”
廣州城球員黃政宇談到備戰則表示 ：“正如主教練所說 ，這兩天的訓練主要是以恢複訓練為主 ，希望明天能夠延續上一場的狀態 ，希望爭取有一個好的結果 。”（DD）
