事實上，武磊本賽季在西甲當中還未開胡 ，16場比賽0球0助攻 ，隻出場了320分鍾 ，場均出場時間僅為20分鍾 。武磊本賽季全部的進球數據都發生在國王杯賽場，4場比賽1球1助攻，出場時間183分鍾 ，場均出場時間46分鍾 。
由於嚴重缺乏比賽機會 ，也讓人們對武磊的未來感到擔憂。《足球報》此前就曾報道，武磊在接受采訪時表示，他仍然希望繼續留洋生涯 。但多方消息都顯示 ，回歸上海海港也是武磊的選項之一 。
