北京時間2月1日 ，中國隊在大年初一1-3慘敗於越南隊 ，鹏赛賽後主教練李霄鵬表示 ，前激球崛起迟賽前設計出了問題，度队向所有球迷道歉 。员非
李霄鵬說 ：“向所有的常紧球迷道歉 ，也給隊員道歉 ，张中早今天輸球主要賽前設計出了問題 ，国足後續的李霄励过補救無法挽回 ，比分從我個人到全隊都很難接受 。鹏赛”
李霄鵬說，前激球崛起迟比賽出問題主要是度队兩方麵 ，一方麵是员非比賽的設計出了問題，隊員踢得很努力，常紧另一方麵是张中早賽前激勵過度 ，隊員太想贏，上半場在非常緊張的情況下 ，度過了半場比賽 。
對於讓歸化球員首發，中場又換下的原因 ，李霄鵬解釋說 ：“歸化球員的求戰欲望和賽前狀態非常好，但很長時間沒有大場地的比賽 ，對他們的狀態有影響 ，上半場兩個歸化傾盡全力 ，雖然沒有進球，但比賽態度值得讚賞 。”
“今天我們兩個後腰和兩個中後衛，在進攻的實力離的太近，在防守的時候離的隊員 ，這是今天出問題的首要原因 。”李霄鵬說 。
對於徹底無緣2022年卡塔爾世界杯 ，談到國足的未來 ，李霄鵬表示 ：“中國足球崛起是遲早的事 ，但需要一代又一代人的努力 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
